FINALLYYYY GOT A BIBLICALLY ACCURATE SUPERGIRL (AND THIS IS COMING FROM A DIEHARD POWER GIRL FAN AND A LONG TIME SUPERGIRL FAN. We're talking since Warner Bros still had stores in malls long time fan and having watched Helen Slater's Supergirl on repeat!)

This movie was AMAZING! I'm still shaking! The plot! The costumes! The sets and effects! The acting! All of it was a perfect recipe for this fantastic movie!

Idfc what anyone says, Milly Alcock is the best Supergirl SINCE HELEN SLATER. She is Kara Zor-El and her performance was incredible. She deserves all the praise (and hopefully an award), because I have never seen someone portray this side of Kara as perfectly as she has. Finally, a project that understands that Kara is not just a female Clark Kent and Supergirl is FAR from being a female Superman.

And the fact that they chose "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" by Tom King (if you know me, you know I'm not crazy about his storylines), I admit, I was skeptical. Having seen the movie? Not only might I go read the comic again, but I definitely plan on seeing this movie again (and buying it later on too).

Eve Ridley, Jason Momoa, and David Corenswet (THE SUPERMAN) absolutely acted their asses off as well alongside Alcock. It really was the best cast of characters I've seen since, well, Superman (2025). There are a lot of memorable moments and it's a movie we need, especially if your spirits have been down and you feel defeated and everything feels hopeless. (I know I definitely needed this movie with everything going on irl because admittedly I have been in a dark place these last couple of days so this definitely helped lift the spirits)

I'm really excited for the future of the DCU and CANNOT WAIT to see what comes next!
