My question is still: How are you going to enforce a zero tolerance policy for GenAI in fandom without

a) creating a hostile atmosphere where writers who don’t use AI will get accused of using it because of their em-dashes or whatnot?

b) turning it into a game of «how can I slip my unlabelled AI fics past the fandom police?» for those who use GenAI to write?

Fandom isn’t remotely comparable to an academic context where the grades you get will count towards a degree that will determine your future employment and where it’s important to ensure that said grades are awarded to those who have the knowledge and skills to do the work. You cannot force people to write their fanfiction on paper in a closed room to ensure they don’t use GenAI. And you can’t harass your way into making fandom as a whole behave the way you think it should behave.
