I think Steve would enjoy reality tv. Competition shows like survivor and the amazing race (the ones men are "allowed" to enjoy) But also shows like the bachelor, jersey shore and vanderpump rules. Jack loves Daveyās parents. Theyāve always been kind to him growing up, offering a place at their dinner table, a spot on their couch, a friendly ear, an encouraging word.
Theyāre right there with Ma throughout the canvas of his life: at his art competitions and football games, at Thanksgiving dinners and Memorial Day cookouts and countless birthdays. Meyer taught him how to shave, Ester taught him how to drive, and theyāve both taught him a thousand times over what a loving relationshipāa loving marriageāis supposed to look like.
As you can probably tell, I spent all weekend drawing, but I started writing a fic based off of a conversation between @thundercaya and I (how i got inspiration wonāt make sense until kind of later though.) The lams sin is done but I hate the way that I wrote John so much that Iām just not going to share it. Aaanyways, enjoy this tiny bit of writing-
The word āsurpriseā always filled James with dread. He liked knowing exactly what was happening next; not becoming painfully aware that he had no idea. So when he got a text from Thomas saying that he had a surprise in store for tomorrow, James was not thrilled. Especially with Thomas; his surprises rarely ended well. What was especially annoying was that he was so close to falling asleep when he got the text. Now, he had to start the process of calming down again just to get some rest.
As he lied alone in the dark, James speculated as to what was awaiting him. Last time that Thomas āsurprisedā him, they went on a short vacation to a beach hotel in which James took every possible moment to melt into the sheets of their bed and not think about anything at all. The best that James could hope for this time was a situation that didnāt involve many opportunities to humiliate himself. Though, despite his best efforts, that kind of thing seemed to follow him around a lot.
James replied with āWhat is it?ā but he knew the reply heād get. Thomas wouldnāt tell him. Heād have to wait for it.
