i keep seeing solidarity posts that are like "i love and care and think you're deserving of patience" and like yeah! but no..
but no....
im sure you're cool and you are deserving of space and comfort but it's pretty neutral from there
might also be a thing (internalised. something something) where i partially feel bad for that
so many spaces are centered around community and specifically loving and uplifting them, and my brain just doesn't do that.
i appreciate communities and mutual support is important, but there's nothing behind that.
im respecting you because i just feel like it. i don't love and support your individual presence, i just think people deserve to feel comfortable.
don't have to love someone to support them
We'll like a post and then it says something like "love you" and we just go ugh.. Why'd you have to add that? We much prefer things that are just positive for the sake of it. But it's harder to find, love means a big deal to some people we suppose
It feels like they're trying to be way too personal, like a stranger asking you to hang out. "Don't have to love someone to support them" WORDS TO LIVE BY!!!!
