This incredible book tells the story of Felix, a transgender teen who wants nothing more then to fall in love. We follow Felix as he goes on a journey of self discovery all while navigating the daily struggles of life in high school. Felix Ever After was actually my first Trans Own Voices read and it definitely won’t be the last! ⁣ ⁣ Felix Ever After is such a special book that truly moved me. This book is so well written and beautifully explores identity, race, bullying, friendship and family dynamics, and the struggles of being a teen. I loved watching Felix find himself and realize his worth. ⁣ ⁣ The author describes what they hope readers took away from Felix Ever After and they hit it on the head . . . “laughs and tears; a roller coaster ride of a romance, empowerment, and validation; and a story they thoroughly enjoyed.” I took away all of these things!
