(I hope in vain for Mallt-y-Nos and the cŵn annwn but I know my chances are slim)

hi! i actually have a post buried in my drafts somewhere where i wonder if gwyn ap nudd will make an appearance. both him and arawn appear as the rulers of the otherworld in welsh folklore/myth (this role was attributed to gwyn ap nudd in later traditions as far as i know) and are associated with the wild hunt and cŵn annwn. gwyn ap nudd is also part of arthur's retinue in "culhwch ac olwen" (a welsh arthurian text) so that would be interesting. and someone must have filled in arwan's role as a psychopomp right? i would love for more welsh myth elements to be introduced and i think the cŵn annwn might actually appear. if i remember right arawn says alice is surrounded by his hounds in the otherworld (and mariah also hears their howls i think). when we first met a hellhound in legendborn i wondered why tracy chose to go with them being black and green when the cŵn annwn are white with red ears and i guess there might be a difference between them and hellhounds? i really hope that's the case honestly.

I think about this ALL the time and although I don't think anyone too important is leaving, I'm not putting it completely out of the equation yet since finale's in any fantasy series, especially ones with high stakes like LB has, you can never never be too sure

Look only in book 1 we had three deaths (whitty, russ and fitz) and finding out about evan's death so i'd be shocked if no one died in the last confrontations. Moreover, we don't know what the other legendborn have been up to but i wouldn't be surprised if there already were casualities. I'm wondering what it's going to be like when bree will (most probably) try to reunite the table because they have no idea where she's been while they were probably fighting the shadowborn.

I'm also worried about natasia. Also will but i don't think tracy will kill him tbh. He's a fandom favourite tho and his death would have the greatest impact. I refuse to think about the possibility of alice dying. The boys are also a possibilty since neither of them would hesitate to sacrifice themselves. Nick is adamant on the fact that he's borrowing himself time which is either due to his whole plan or maybe he has seen something/was shown something by lancelot. I think it's less likely tho but you never know. While i love lark and willark a lot i have to admit i think lark is underdeveloped and that tracy could have gone better about their relationship. What i'm trying to say is that i find the whole thing weird. Either having a too large cast of characters got to tracy or there is something up with lark (which could mean death sorry willark fans). Elijah is another character i thought could die. Then of course any of the legendborn.
