Finding Bailey on purpose proved far harder than he anticipated. She wasn’t reclusive, but she didn’t really seem to have a home address. He did manage to track down some of her former roommates; partially because Patrick could remember where her old super lived. The rest he managed from doing a slightly dubiously legal search through Ministry records. She’d worked with Levi Bulstrode for a time before he’d left, so they had an emergency contact.

Now he found himself staring at a very homey-looking door and wondering how a budding criminal disaster could have a front door that looked so mundane. He’d half expected her to live above some highly eccentric shop or something of the like.

“Oh,” he said as someone he vaguely recognized opened the door, “Miriam, isn’t it?” Patrick asked, scrambling to remember correctly. “We met at the magic grocers a few weeks back?”

I am in fact a mom! I refer to them on social media as Thing1 and Thing2, and they are my favorite people in the universe!

Both of them are nonbinary (they/them and he/they respectively) and asexual. If you go back far enough in my blog, there's a post where, when Thing1 was about... 10 or 11 I think, I speculated whether they might be ace, in fact. By the end of this year they will both be legally (if not fully functionally) adults, and they both have their own tumblr accounts, though neither of them post much.
