Can you electrify me? ⚡️
Also new hair.. Back to my scene days 💙🖤
Let me know if you like it or not!
Btw, if you have white clothes that get discolored or dingy or stained, you do Not have to throw it away!!!
Instead, you can and should get a $2-3 packet of fabric dye from the craft store and just dye it a different color.
(Note that this only works with natural fibers like cotton and linen. If it's polyester or synthetic, the dye process is more complicated. Otoh, this can produce some interesting/cool looks on clothes that are part cotton, part polyester, or otherwise mixed fabrics (you can find this information on the fabric tag or printed tag inside the clothes. This will usually be at the back of the neck, or occasionally over your left hip.)
And like. Literally all you need is a bucket or sufficiently large bowl (washable) and a dye packet. You can also get a bottle of dye for like $7-12 (USD) if you want to dye more than one load.
You can get any shade of the dye color depending on length of time and how much you dilute it with water
Boom! Your white piece of clothing that you love gets a new life as purple! or blue or red or literally whatever color you can find/mix a dye for! You can enjoy it for another three to five years!
(If your clothes don't last at least three years each, please do me, the planet, and yourself a cool favor: stop buying fast fashion. when/as you need new clothes, get them from thrift stores or yard sales or vintage stores or secondhand furniture stores or buy-nothing groups. That way, you'll get clothing FROM BACK WHEN THEY MADE CLOTHING GOOD INSTEAD OF MAKING ITCHY SHIT THAT DISINTEGRATES IN EACH MONTH)
And of course: you can always, always tie dye. Literally the only extra thing you need is rubber bands.
Like vinted the app and suddenly everything I liked is gone 🌝
I'm going thrifting tomorrow
