The new foliage of Sorbaria sorbifolia 'Sem' (false spirea) is a distinctive yellow-green flushed with bright reddish-pink and bronze with the leaves becoming greener in summer. This cultivar is a more compact form of this thicket-forming shrub composed of upright stems. This plant can be invasive and needs to be managed.

My interests fluctuate around a lot ngl. Right now this blog is basically a shrine to The Iliad and Homeric everything, buuuut I'm an absolute sucker for ancient mythos and history in general, so don't be surprised if I bound off in a new direction.

I'm an outdoors girl at heart, especially near water. The pool, river, lake, ocean, doesn't matter, I'm getting in it lol. Paddleboarding is my favorite way to explore and pretend I'm athletic, hehehe.
