not really anything big, but to help with writing my ttrpg campaign i made a bash function that lets you "mark" a directory of markdown files to be live displayed as html. useful for when i need actual pretty notes to look at
of course, it's the same as any other markdown previewer, but i don't like obsidian and this worked really well with my current setup with nvim

Rosa ‘Cantabrigiensis’ (shrub rose) is the result of hybridisation work undertaken by the geneticist Dr Charles Chamberlain Hurst. He worked in the Cambridge Botanic Gardens, UK, from 1922-1947. This large shrub produces upright growth with arching side shoots smothered with pale yellow single blooms in late spring and followed by orange red hips in autumn. Here it is being guided into a tree with the help of a rope.

also i AM alive!! just been enjoying post-exam summer to its fullest, sorry if my projects lag behind for a little. dont worry, i plan to be productive!
i've made some progress using BSim from mk7 to tomodachi life (often inappropriately) and have tried modding some other consoles. little outside of that, though
i spoke about "larpers" a while ago, but this was before it was used as a catch all insult to ANY person trying to learn .. any science. it's an insidious, jealous term; i was using it to criticise people who scare others while trying to big themselves up, but nowadays - especially in mathematical fields - it's used by insecure individuals to put others down for trying
i've now swung to the opposite extreme. i genuinely don't think anything is larp, and it's harmful and annoying to dismiss people with it. i've seen graduate mathematics students be called larpers. it all comes from an inherent need for a bunch of bullies to be mentally superior
