“Barney?” Clint stood half in the doorway, the late September chill making him shiver a bit, as the wind picked up. “You still up?” It was late, and he’d just finished up with the last of his chores, when the drizzle that had been falling all day had broken out into a proper all out drenching rain storm, complete with thunder loud enough to rattle windows, and make you think you’re dying when it crashed down. Running through the rain to their little trailer had been a bit of an adventure, and he’d ended up splattered in mud up to his hips.

" I got it, siddown... " it's said with a wave of his hand towards his couch as he starts towards the bathroom where he kept a small box with first aid equipment. He grabs it before returning to the couch and starting to thread a needle. " It'll be cleaner if you're not trying to do it to yourself. "

“Where’s your brother?  He knows he owes me a favour.”
