Hello! My name is Tee and this is me FINALLY getting round to making my introductory post! I’ve had this blog just over a week now and I feel like I’ve settled myself in enough to actually introduce myself now. 

My name is Tayla (Tee) and I’m 20 years old living in the UK. I go to Royal Holloway University where I’m in my second year studying English Literature (specialising in Victorian Literature) and I really, really, REALLY love books. And tea, I’m fond of tea too. 

I have four cats when I’m at home so expect them to crop up from time to time as they like to do their best from distracting me from studying and demanding attention. As well as reading books I’m an aspiring writer too and it’s my dream job to be a full time novelist! I know it’s a bit of a stretch but a girl can dream, eh? 

As well as writing critical and creative pieces I like to make short videos talking about books I’m studying and ones I’ve just enjoyed reading. I’ll put a link to my YouTube channel at the bottom of the post as well as a link to my instagram which is mainly pictures of cats and the occasional seflie. 

I started this studyblr mainly because I have my exam in Victorian literature coming up in the next month and wanted to motivate myself to get really productive! I knew a little bit about the studyblr community but not much but everyone seems so lovely and everyones notes are gorgeous! In the long term I want to keep being productive as I have a tendency to slip a little in my studies, I’m hoping that this blog will help me to keep up with everything and that you all will inspire me in new and exciting ways! 

I have to thank @z-oologystudy for being the inspiration for starting this blog as she introduced me to this community. She’s super fantastic irl as well as online.
