We don't know one another (though I comment at AO3 occasionally) but I enjoy your stories so much and I'd hate to think you're stressing out over it! You're so generally prolific and your update schedules are a nice bonus, but you shouldn't worry over it if a certain part is taking a little longer to iron out. I'm sure it will be great when it's ready! And if you did need someone to talk things out with, I don't know whether tumblr strangers are any help, but feel free to message :)
You’re so sweet, thank you very much for reaching out to me. And for the reassurance! Yeah, I figure there are always bumps in the road, I guess I’m just a bit frustrated with this particular bump. I’ve pictured both of these chapters over and over again, and I knew what I wanted from them weeks ago and I wrote it all out the way I thought I wanted it. It’s just that feeling when you finally get it all on paper and it isn’t what you expected it to be, I guess. Not that it’s bad? It’s not bad, it’s just not fitting quite right. It’s probably something small, like a transition scene or even a single line of dialogue. I’m really hoping it’s not Greg’s narration. That would be the worst case scenario.
I might take you up on that, tumblr stranger or not. I just don’t want to spoil the story for anyone, that’s my big thing. And at this point, I feel like I’d have to give away the entire plan for it to make much sense. But still, thank you for offering and for enjoying my stories! You’re very kind!
