Hi! My name is Mya (she/her) and I've been drawing for a little over 12 years now! I've been slowly building a world with my boyfriend, Tom, also known as The Otherverse, and I am the main artist and character designer!

I figured Tumblr would be a good place to show off the characters, answer assorted questions and also try and get a few of my own characters off the ground.

If you're a fan of original characters, please interact and feel free to ask me anything!

Other Info:

I draw/sketch in pencil, but do occasionally ink and colour as well

I'm massively into all things Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton

I'm also quite the fan of The Cornetto Trilogy and a bunch of other things I couldn't name here (ask me for more info!)

Me and Tom have a YouTube Channel and Tiktok under Tom and Mya Studios, where we post projects, songs and more (don't tell him you came from this Tumblr blog as he has no idea I'm doing this!)

And just a final note not to steal any of these OCs or concepts and not to use this art/OCs without consulting first.

While Grand Evil's inspiration isn't exactly pinned down, I can safely say that Grand Man is based around Benedict Cumberbatch and Timeman is based around Simon Pegg, both actors handpicked by my boyfriend by the way!

We might as well start with the banner of my profile, and my absolute favourite character in The Otherverse!

This is Starman, The Master of Space.

In The Otherverse, there are four masters, each representing a different thing.

Good, Evil, Time and Space.

Starman is, of course, the interpretation of space and, in case it wasn't obvious, I did base his face on Reece Shearsmith, hence leading to him being drawn way too many times!
