Robert Sheehan on the set of The Toilers video for Banshee Betty.
The ivories are ticklish. Rob is tickling them ⬆️
Took me 80+ hours but it’s finally completed!!! And I actually am super happy with how this turned out! Definitely my favorite art I’ve ever done digitally yet!!
Robert Sheehan as seen in The Toilers music video Banshee Betty (but you could also view it as Klaus Hargreeves from TUA if you’d want! 😉) done on my phone using pocket procreate and my finger as a stylus!
It honestly took me awhile to decide if I liked this song or if I just liked the aesthetic of the music video. It took a few listens, but I do really like it.
I love the bass line and guitar in this song. It was the vocal line I was struggling with, mostly because of how unpredictable it is, which makes it difficult to sing along. Parts of it are almost sing-spoken, which does suit the song.
This is such a minor thing, but the colouring of the music video is also really good? Like the warm tones look really good, and it’s such a cool but subtle contrast to the cooler-toned dream sequences.
There is also something deeply funny about singing about a banshee wailing.
