"it's quite cool because i've looked into your eyes, chatting to you, doing interviews when you started in car racing to now see you as a f1world champion (🥺🥺) so, what you've been working for all of your racing career, how far back does that dream go? does it go all the way back to karting?
lando: ummm i mean i started karting just because i love karting, not because of formula one. it was more like end of my karting years, so 2013 and when i went into car racing, 2014, that was more the time of like "ok it gets a bit more serious" my parents asked, right "is this what you want to do?" and that's kind of when it became a thing.
ok, my dream, let's try and get to f1 that's our dream. not just mine but my dad's and my family's. so that was the moment. but before then, i started racing just because i loved racing. i would say since 2014, but of course since 2008, when i started karting, that's where my love for racing, f1, motorbikes as well, that's where it all started. but 2014, 2013 was the time i was like "ok, go (goal?) -> dream -> f1"
