avengers was on and this movie would be much improved if you gave the chitauri the voices of the battle droids hulk jumping at a wall of alien death commandoes and that slightly nasally vocoder all 'uh oh' loki - send the rest chitauri control - roger roger anyways, someone do that

Avengers idea: when the mother ship was blown up, the machine connecting to the Chitauri which allowed them to breathe was also destroyed, but one was able to use bits of technology from the hover crafts to survive and saved a few others before going into hiding.
