We’ve got her siblings Thriftear and Twirlberry (Flipclaw), her crushes Stemleaf and Spotfur (who is not related to Bristlefrost in this AU), and of course her parents Ivypool and Fernsong
I haven't gone through all your posts but you saying that you're "of course making it queerer" just makes me wanna ask... is RootShadow a thing in your rewrite? Sorry if this is a stupid question, you just have a buttload of posts and I don't wanna have to scroll for a while.
Not entirely unfortunately. They have mutual crushes on each other, but with all the whole codebreaker stuff going on and Rootspring's conflicting crush on Bristlefrost, they decide they're better off as just friends
BristleRoot is sort of a thing in the end but they also end up breaking up
