• It shouldn’t be this hard. Just walk up and say hi. Ask you about your day. Make small talk. Rumbling, he clears his vents loudly and rolls his shoulders, plating lifting and settling. Trying to psyche himself up as he spots you. And okay, maybe part of it is that you’re not a caretaker. Not actively looking for a partner and maybe don’t want one. But if he doesn’t try, he’ll never know. Be stuck following after you, listening in from a distance when you talk to other humans, spark thrumming every time you laugh or smile. Being an extra creepy stalker as Crosshairs had pointed out.
• Looking up when the other guard on duty nudges you, you’re not even surprised to see the now familiar blue mech lingering and staring at you. And he never says anything, just stares. ‘Think he’s fantasizing about where to bury your body?’ Your buddy asks and you elbow him hard in the gut. You’re pretty sure the mech is harmless, but the way he follows you around from a distance and never comes closer is a tiny bit unsettling. “Maybe he’s just shy,” you mutter.
• He can do this. Just walk over. Smile. Say the lines he’s rehearsed so many times in his head. Tell you that he likes you, your smile, your laugh, the way your eyes crinkle at the edges when you’re amused. That he wants to get to know you. Tell you his name. Because he’s pretty sure you have no idea who he is. Hasn’t been able to even introduce himself to you, yet. Plating lifting again, he makes himself stride over.
• Aggressively elbowing your coworker again when he whispers ‘I think moto moto likes you,’ under his breath, your face flames. Because you doubt it’s like that. The mech just wants something from you and he’s awkward. Very awkward. Smiling uncertainly as he rocks to a stop much closer than he’s ever gotten to you, he looks from you to your buddy. Like he wants the guy to leave. “Can I help you, sir?” You call out.
• And his processor blanks because you’re talking to him. Smiling up at him. Can’t remember any of the things he wanted to say as he stares at you. All he can remember is that stupid, human TV show he’d been watching with Bee last night. Leaning on the scaffolding near the wall, trying to be smooth, he smiles seductively. “How you doin?” He purrs right as the scaffolding cracks, collapsing under his weight as his arms pinwheel and he goes down with it. Can hear you and the other human laughing at him as his fans kick on.

I wish evac was a regular tf character instead of a character made for the ride. Fun fact I used to think that he was an actual character in the bay films when I was a child. I’m kind of a dumbass. He’s probably my favourite bayverse character because he’s the most tolerable. And he wasn’t even in the actual movies
