That is pretty much what Jason Aaron does.

I mean, the whole thing has cool ideas. Power Absorption is even mythologically accurate if we remember Khonshu's era as Khonshu The Cannibal (which was when he'd take lesser God's powers and give them to his favorite humans, long before he became the Embracer, the Defender and the Protector of the Travelers of the Night) so it could've been interesting if, say, someone was controlling the heroes and it was necessary to take away their powers. NOT just making Khonshu evil for the sake of being evil. But he didn't do anything with those ideas, just had Marc act as if he didn't have two braincells to rub together, and completely forgot that Marc is NOT a single person in that body, not even checking what was going on in his own title when he put it in Avengers (Which, again, is something that he does A LOT. See again: She-Hulk)

It's weird that they thought Marc was being shilled because sure, he did defeat everyone at first but then they had T'challa beating Khonshu in hand to hand combat.

I will repeat:

T'challa, a Superpowered human whose powers put him in the "heavy bruiser but not really cosmic league" without ANY armor or special extra addition, managed to fist fight a GOD who at the time was handling Mjnolir, the powers of the Eye of Agamotto, the Iron Fist AND his own godly powers. Not only that, but had Mjnolir act like an overeager puppy around T'Challa.

I love Black panther but in any other situation? We'd be calling that a Mary Sue.

I love the idea of this book, the premise is interesting and the plot is handled well, but the dialogue is ATROCIOUS!

Every single character sounds exactly the same; they all sound like teenagers trying to be as quippy and sarcastic as possible, which probably flows better when said out loud, but written down it’s almost unreadable.

Honestly? I think we’re mistaken if we think a good premise means we’d necessarily have an awesome season. Remember the way they hyped up Dark Clary just for it be two episodes of Clary being slightly incestuous and really not do much? Sure, she sexually assaulted Jace and helped Jonathan get the sword. But the former was played as a sexy scene and the later didn’t mean anything until the rune was broken and Jonathan went full demon and turn on Clary for no actions of her own. Not really a satisfying storyline, you know?

Blizzard has no idea how to do undercuts or any style of hair where one part is a different style than the other (exhibit a: Junkrat)
