tips to draw tenakth armour. please i need it 😭😭😭
i saw no evidence that they eat people. some of the markings on their skin look like blood, but could just as easily be some kind of dye. my guess is the whole cannibalism thing was made up by the carja. which is good news, i have no interest to wind up on a buffet.

I really like Chief Hekarro as a character and it’s clear that he has impressive strength, personal charisma, and dedication to hold the Tenakth together for the most part, but the sheer quantity of outlanders and rebellions going on in his territory make it seem like he's a bit incompetent without Aloy.
Not even counting the scores of Oseram just making themselves at home in Tenakth claimed zones, he’s got the Quens down south, the sons of Prometheus, Regalla’s rebellion, and the Far Zeniths. Like dude, you're meant to be the chief of all chiefs, the leader of the most militaristic tribe yet, what are you even doing?
Once focuses are distributed among the Tenakth, to help Hekarro encourage literacy, the Desert Clan host a pair of awards for erotica: The Scalding Spear and The Sopping Well.

An Utaru woman and a Tenakth man in Sunfall. Early designs in HZD.
Tenakth painting your partner headcannon as im back in the F*cking building again of my beloved Kotaloy.
Patterns that use the fingertips of another person being considered a declaration, with the placement on the body changing the implications.
With the fact that our fingerprints are one of the most unique things a person has, having that design displayed whether as a thumbprint on a cheek or forehead, a whole hands worth around the throat or scattered like petals across the body under armor would hold significant meaning.
The more visible and obvious that its another person's 'Glyphs' the more serious a courting would be considered. Partners who are intending to be mated/bound ect would exchange very visible possesive glyphs in their respective colors.
This of course would open up a myriad of situations for everyone's favorite dumb trees.
Cultural misunderstanding where Aloy accidentally marks Kotallo with her glyphs? Check.
Not so accidental claiming where Kotallo doesnt remove them because hes a pining mess who assumes she doesn't know but wants to be hers in whatever way he can? Check.
Aloy trying to be as obvious as possible about her feelings for Kotallo but whos allergy to talking about said feelings drives her to actions instead; paired with said assumption from Kotallo that she doesn't know what it means and couldn't possibly want him as anything more than stress relief? Check.
Aloy leaving her Glyphs on Kotallo's maimed arm above the wrapping he uses as well as around his throat and having him give her his Glyphs in public to finally drive the point home? Check.
Kotallo leaving his Glyphs around Aloy's eyes and hand to remind her that she is not alone and she has a destination to return too when shes out in the wilds by herself? Check.
If anyone else has ideas for scenarios that would fit in with this "Painted Glyphs" concept id love to see them in the comments, im a sucker for the hurt comfort of these two. Drops links to playlists cuse I like to listen to personally curated for the character ones while I write.
I really like the idea that Aloy loves Tenakth fashion and face paints as soon as she steps into the forbidden west.
I play her mostly with the banuk ice hunter outfit in HZD (because it fucks) so i like to think she really liked banuk fashion and face paint (i give her banuk aspirant in hzd) and then saw those mad motherfuckers wearing grass and metal spikes and being so colourful and went " this is EXACTLY what i want"
Like, is it practical? Fuck no. Is it comfortable? I would think not. It it full of joy and whimsy? Hell yes. Is it extremely dangerous for everyone concerned? (the spikes girl, the spikes) Absolutely!
