I feel like as time goes on, people are fundamentally misremembering Talanah’s quest in FW bc I keep seeing the same rhetoric getting parroted different places:

No, she and Amadis were never a couple.

• She wasn’t even excited to see him. In fact, she was mad he did something that reckless. She was so over it all during their final convo at Barren Light.

No, she did not manipulate Aloy into helping.

• Aloy actually insisted despite Talanah telling her she understood she had more important things to do.

No, she wasn’t dishonest about who Amadis was.

• Kept her promise in telling Aloy everything about him.

No, she did not lead Aloy on emotionally.

• You have to actually know how you feel about someone to do that or know how they feel about you. And when Aloy popped the question you could tell Talanah was startled and unsure.

No, she didn’t want to leave back to Meridian.

• She felt bad enough taking Aloy’s time and emphasized how grateful she was
