My Friend Darkness
They can have my darkness if they want it. If that's what they need. It can be theirs.
What they think is I am holding her hand following blind into the darkness. See, She is me and I am her and We are Three. Nothing can come between this Trinity.
Thinking they want her so bad. Tempting me. Provoking me. I can set her free.
But please remember darkness envelops all she sees. So though she resides with me as we are Three. She will be one with you. Enshrouding your hue. Distorting your view. Darkness throughout all you knew. And her release is yours to keep as it is forever waking life and sleep.
You see we are friends now. We understand each other deep. She is the one that showed me where to seek light when she came for me. A Love like this did not come cheap.
She has walked with me for as long as I can remember. Reminding me as a small child she would be with me forever.
So when she comes your way know she will be a part of you, not me. Your request was simply 'set her free'.
When she comes knocking at your door know I am sending only Love. For she will be your cool breeze when you need to see the forest through the trees. When your life choices bring you to your knees. She will be there. My friend, Darkness.
~Talitha~
James 1:12 (NKJV) - Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Scripture Says…
Matthew 4.4
Jesus answered, 'Scripture says, "Man cannot live on bread alone; he lives on every word that God utters."'
In children's Sunday School class and vacation Bible school, we had to memorize Scripture verses—King James Version, of course. But I wasn't a Christian then and though the verses had the ring of truth, they meant little to me
How many of you still used the 'Authorized King James Version of the Holy Bible' simply because it's called the 'authorized' version? Would it surprise you to know that that particular translation is not 'authorized' by God? It was 'authorized' by King James the Elder of England, who insisted that the translation should conform to the theology and doctrine of the Church of England. The translation was begun in 1604, completed in 1611, and met with the approval of the monarch.
William Shakespeare wrote his great works of literature during that same period. So unless you are a great fan of Shakespeare—and I was at one time—the language of the 'authorized' translation of the Bible sounds strange and unnatural to you, because we don't talk like that today. Of course, it's majestic, even poetic—but do you really know what it says? Are you sure?
I occasionally subbed for the teacher of the adult Sunday School class in a church I attended, and it never failed to amaze me how ignorant most of them were regarding the Bible. Every time I taught, people would approach me and say, 'I didn't know that was in the Bible!' Yet those same people could tell me what Nostradamus had written. There's something wrong with that! As Christians, we should be absorbing the Word of God, not the prognostications of an occult seer!
My point is that you should read a translation (not a paraphrase) of the Bible that sounds natural to your ears, so that you can easily understand the Word of God and learn what God is saying to His people. It isn't necessary to memorize verses word-for-word—that's difficult with so many modern translations—but you need to know what the Word says.
Did you know that when Jesus quoted the Old Testament (the only Scripture available at that time), He usually paraphrased? In other words, He didn't offer a mindless recitation, but offered a clear understanding of what Scripture said.
In the book of Matthew, when the devil attempts to draw Jesus away from His mission in order to destroy God's plan for the salvation of mankind, Jesus rebuts him by citing the book of Deuteronomy. Though I use the New English Bible (which, sadly, is no longer in print) in my personal study, I'll quote the New American Standard Version here, as it is reputed to be the most accurate translation available.
And the tempter came and said to Him, 'If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.' But He answered and said, 'It is written, "Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God."' —Matthew 4.3-4 (NASB)
Jesus is citing Deuteronomy, chapter 8.
He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD. —Deuteronomy 8.3 (NASB)
Next, the devil quotes Psalm 91 (Did you know Satan can quote chapter and verse of the Bible? Don't let him derail you with a misapplication of the Word!) and Jesus corrects him with another quote from Deuteronomy. Never lift a verse out of context but consider the entire Word.
Then the devil took Him into the holy city and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, 'If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, "He will command His angels concerning You"; and "On their hands they will bear You up, so that You will not strike Your foot against a stone."' Jesus said to him, 'On the other hand, it is written, "You shall not put the Lord your God to the test."' —Matthew 4.5-7 (NASB)
Jesus again cites Deuteronomy.
'You shall not put the LORD your God to the test, as you tested Him at Massah.' —Deuteronomy 6.16 (NASB)
The third time, Satan didn't bother to try to deceive with Scripture, but made an outright play to displace the Father in Jesus' allegiance.
Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; and he said to Him, 'All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.' Then Jesus said to him, 'Go, Satan! For it is written, "You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only."' —Matthew 4.8-10 (NASB)
Again, Jesus' cited the Law.
'You shall fear only the LORD your God; and you shall worship Him and swear by His name.' —Deuteronomy 6.13 (NASB)
It is more important to know what the Scripture means and to be able to state it clearly in your own words than to be able to quote chapter and verse of an outdated translation. The Word should inform your life. It should play a living role in your daily life, not simply provide fodder for a recital.
Spend time with the Word of God, with a modern translation in your native tongue, so that you can truly understand what God is saying to you.
Lord
I struggle to come to you after I sin because, I feel guilty for sinning knowingly, so how can I apologize. I’m also not quite sure if this is a sin or not. But if I have to ask it’s probably becaue it is. SIGH* I am so bothered by myself as I suspect you are also annoyed with me. Please forgive me lord for my sins against you. I’ll read your word for more guidence. In the name of Jesus Amen.
Exposed Shame
Revelation 16:15 | “Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who remains awake & clothed, so that he will not go naked & let his shame be exposed.”
There is one day when HE will come, & every eye will behold HIM; but HE comes in various ways & forms to bless & to test man. ***
Sloth & pleasure may counsel ease, & tempt the watcher to lay aside their garments & take rest & sleep.*** The earnest watcher desires, like Paul, to be found in CHRIST, clad in true righteousness of faith [Philippians 3:9]
keeps themselves clothed with the robe of righteousness Revelation 19:7-8 | Let us rejoice & be glad & give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, & HIS bride has made herself ready. She was given clothing of fine linen, bright & pure.” For the fine linen she wears is the righteous acts of the saints.
These will be times of great temptation.
