Virginia voters approved a mid-decade redistricting plan Tuesday that could boost Democrats’ chances of winning four additional U.S. House seats in November’s midterm elections that will decide control of the closely divided Congress.

The constitutional amendment narrowly backed by voters bypasses a bipartisan redistricting commission to allow the use of new districts drawn by Virginia’s Democratic-led General Assembly. But the public vote may not be the final word. The state Supreme Court is considering whether the plan is illegal in a case that could make the referendum results meaningless.

The Virginia redistricting referendum marked a setback for President Donald Trump, who kicked off a national redistricting battle last year by urging Republican officials in Texas to redraw districts. The goal was to help Republicans win more seats in the November elections and hold on to a narrow House majority in the face of political headwinds that typically favor the party out of power during midterm elections.

I've been on Goh's side for 2ssconds I know....not to insult goh at all, but Ash has a lot more people to talk about due to his journeys, and I find it the most interesting how Ash's side are giving most the approval here 🤨

Okay what is it to do with everyone asking Goh to take care of Ash, seriously. Like it was getting more and more obvious it could be Ash's last series, but doesn't it show like just how people notice Ash and Goh's relationship as being something that Ash cherishes?? That they want Goh to take care of him? 🥹 Like whatever you want to call them, they're getting noticed and I love that 💞 it just makes me feel the writers knew goh would be ashs epitome companion, on ✨

You know, I've been watching alola for the first time finally, and god I love the series so much so far, it's so much fun I underestimated it terribly 😭 and kiawae is such a sweetheart I fricking love him, and that smile he gives goh here. my children

so can I just say this is kukui and burnet saying this aka one of the cutest teams ever, so they are seeing something here 😝 🌸 and since alola is Ash's home away from home (the fact ash even brought goh there too—TWICE—is adorable), getting approval from people ash was really close to in alola is saying something don't you think!!

Andddd... Gary took his time, but we got there in the end lol. (he loves goh ofc ofc) Can I just say I love how Gary helped Goh grow and it's one thing I'm glad journeys handled pretty well, like it could've been anyone else but I'm glad it was Gary 🫶
