The hospital got backed up, which meant I was fasting for way longer than planned. No solids for nearly 43 hours straight, no liquids for 15. Still feeling super rough from that. The waiting room was very overstimulating with sounds/smells😵Then a patient fell outside and needed an ambulance at the same time that a hummingbird fainted! Another patient picked it up and gave it water until it was well enough to fly away again.

Back at the doc for my labwork. Long ass line, only one tech, multiple patients watching vids on their phones on full volume. Moving at a snail’s pace. Full bladder. RIP💀Gotta pick up meds after this. Already flaring.
Edit: omg I waited a whole hour to get to my turn and the tech is literally a brand new trainee. She was so adorable, but she was very nervous. I warned her that my veins are difficult. She tried my right arm and couldn’t get it so then she tried my left arm and got most of the vials filled but then my blood flow just was so slow so they had to take the needle out and try again in my hand. She said she’d never done the hand before but I encouraged her lol. 10 vials total. It took 30 minutes. She felt so bad, but I assured her that it wasn’t her fault, my veins just suck.
