From @naturalelementspottery Spouts- part 4. Here I am cutting open the body of the pot, leaving space for the connection. When attaching the spout, notice that I jiggle it a little. This will help seat or glue the pieces together and remove small air pockets. Then while supporting the inside I can compress and finish the outside seam and vice versa. The lip of the spout can get cut in a number of different ways, the one I chose seems to work with this form. The next step is to finish the lid but that will have to wait for another video session.
