I wanted to make a super detailed build with mostle wooden materials in the middle of a forest and lowkey I feel like I nailed it lmao! Added a porch all around it and as many details as possible! Dating Taiga has never been easy or straightforward

Every day is different

You're not sure if you're going to get the man who remembers you and holds you in both strong arms with those bright eyes bearing down on anyone who passes

Or the man who wipes his earwax on your nice shirt

The longer you date Tai the less you have to guess, the more you know it's going to be the former

He'll ask you strange questions, assessing you, assessing the day, the time, the place

And you realize he's come to trust you. His 1 reliable constant. You don't lie to him, you're not scared anymore and you're holding him when he wakes up, all good signs for where he is

Over time, you've become his pillow more then his rabid chew toy to simply sink his teeth into and make fuck off when he's tired of you

You're warm.

So very very warm.

It's a warmth he constantly seeks out, a warmth like no other

It comes in more than body, it comes in your words, your eyes, your gaze, the way you carry yourself, the way you trust him.

Love is a dime a dozen. Taiga could make and loser fall in love with him.

But trust?

Trust is letting him point the gun at your head and not moving. Perhaps flinching. That's instinct.

You stand there.

Waiting.

Believing he won't pull the fucking trigger and spray your curse all over the casino.

And you're right.

He just smirks at you past his messy bangs and gleaming rings, lowering the beautiful weapon with a limp wrist, drawling with a simple cocky smile

And worse? You did. You always do.

Missions seem to be a problem for him. Long periods of time that you may be gone from him affect him, his reproach, his rapport.

The jealousy.

All of these change, of course, depending on how you respond to his questions. Theres never many. But your honesty or lack thereof will give you away every time.

Sometimes it's fixed with a simple "I missed you, Tai" and a smile, others leave with bullets fired and a threat you know he'll make good on aimed at them, never at you

Though he's thought plenty about marring that skin in a public way. A way anyone would recognize, even him.

Taiga loves deeply and intensely.

Though you'd be hard pressed to call him someone who yearns, rather than someone who takes advantage of opportunity

There's precious little that keeps him away from you. If you call him, he'll show, perhaps forgetting why but always there

Throwing an arm around you, very easily and readily engaging in PDA because who fucking cares? Let em watch, they'll all look away anyways~

Only to huff in vague disapproval when you tell him no seriously

A man who will forget date nights or roll his eyes at plans he doesn't want to do anymore

The majority of your dates will be spontaneous! ... And possibly blood covered!

Throw you his wallet and tell you to go wild with however much remains

Then demand a fashion show with a cigar in his mouth waiting to see what surprise you got him

Casino dates are probably common, demanding you sit in his lap like a good luck charm. His breath casing your neck and his arms firmly around your waist while you hold his cards

The things he does for you are rare and exceedingly pointed...

What you always found surprising with Taiga is the amount of autonomy you have. Given Sinonstra's ... Reputation you expected ... Well, more helicoptering or needy demanding texts all the time

But Tai doesn't seem to care. Sleep here? Sure. Goin' out with your friends a little skimpy? Well make sure to save that look for him later. Going shopping? Ya need cash? Come home, don't come home, message him in a couple days so he knows you're not dead and we're fine.

Taiga finds an ease with you. Something that brings him home every night, arm seeking you out in his silken sheets even if you're not there

Just to breathe in your hair, remember the smell and hear the words "I love you" fall from your perfect lips for him to swallow all over again, let the greed consume him

Even if it's all fucked. Let him have this kindness.

He's told you things, many things, things that sound unbelievable while his eyes pierce through you, waiting to see if you jump back or disbelieve him

The strangest thing? You don't.

Something about these are different... Strangely so.

Some you don't want to believe. You wish to unhear, undo, unfeel

Still you feel it in your gut, clawing and gnawing harder than any thorns and vines worming their way through
