better terrain:the modern terrain is trying to hard 2 be real life, if it was weirder and more varied exploration would b3 more interesting
crunchy generation like in older versions
varients of the newer biomes: ever since like the cave update new biomes havent had any varients, for example the jungle has bamboo, sparse and another one varients, while the cherry grove is just a cherry grove. this may be part of the reason they end up so smol
fleshing out sapience: the handfull of mobs that can be presumed to be sapient are very shallow
nomadic endermen who dont kill you, but are unwilling to trade if u make eye contact
piglins are actually pretty good, but they should have villages of some sort
pillagers/villagers should be more mixed together instead of having an evil race and a good race
all villages and dwelling places should be nade more sensical: 1 maybe 2 of each profession, navigable lay outs, some form of protection (walls ect), and have more varients with more or less diversity (a village with only stuck up racist villager priests to 1 w all 3 species)
they could also have specific cultural items, maybe even biome and species specific, like stronger bamboo tools in jungles or end city compasses with endermen
