#tablet pen

I was looking forward to drawing again, but apparently that's not in the cards unless I

A. abandon all digital WIPs and get back to just pencil & paper

B. destroy my hands trying to draw with mouse again

C. Somehow magically find another pen type that's compatible with a Ugee 1910b tablet (unlikely, everywhere I look says this was the only one and they don't make it anymore)

D. Spend $400+ on an entirely new setup

i wanna try drawing on my laptop but it isn't one of those 2in1 or hybrids or computers that can completely be folded. she is touch screen though. i need help figuring out what would be the best method/guides/tools/positions for me to create art.

like, should i just buy a mouse and use that ? bc i am experienced with using desktop and mouses for creating stuff and I honestly do not want to use the track pad (i hate it)

or should i look into getting an affordable tablet pad and stylus? like this digital art/design is just a hobby of mine, so i don't know if i should buy me one of those. i do have some funds and income tho.

anyways, any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
