I’m so fucking tired. The democrats are so inert that they’re just gonna roll over. Even if by some miracle the dems flip the house AND the senate, I do not expect things to improve at all. It’s so discouraging that we have to beg our fucking elected “representatives” to represent us even when they’re dems, fucking especially if they’re dems. It feels like republican reps align with the will of their voter base way more than democrats.

So many fucking leftists refuse to participate in the electoral process on some moral grandstanding bullshit. I always hear people say, “if voting did anything, they wouldn’t let you do it.” Yet republicans are destroying the fabric of our democracy to make sure you can’t vote lol. If you voted for Trump or didn’t vote at all, this shit is on you. Not a single Palestinian was saved due to your abstaining to vote, quite the opposite. It’s fucking over.

It's just, a lot of people are offering up terms like "Name, our sexual protector" or "Name, our trauma holder", and it's like, you sure you wanna put that out there? Are you sure that's relevant to the conversation, the post you're making, the intro or whatever, like, these are pretty sensitive things you're just offering up like that. What's the reason you're outing these alters like that? I figure it's fine to put just generic "protector" in a title because that doesn't exactly give out any sensitive information, it might even work as a warning like, this guy's a bit tougher to get through, or this guy might be who you're talking to first, right? But when we're talking like, in general, putting "Name, sexual alter" in a post you're making about someone, it's just... is that necessary? Is that something the alter wants to share about themselves?

Just to be clear here - I'm in an asexual system, one of the few of us who isn't that. I still don't want to be known as the guy who fucks around here. Like it's not that I'm ashamed of it but it's just that I wouldn't go out there and be like hey, my name's T, I fuck people. You know? Much less reveal if I've got trauma, that just seems like something that can be used against you. Seeing a post tagged with Name, trauma holder, or just having the information at hand that Name is a trauma holder - it'd be easy to target that alter in case somebody wanted harm to you. And I'm not even talking in terms of predators looking for prey or anything, I'm talking like, your casual friend gets mad at you for something and wants to hurt you, yeah? People do that kind of shit. Knowing this kid's got trauma, they might go for a low blow. It's easy when you offer up that information like that.

Fun fact: your nose gets bigger bc if you’re growth plates are fused already the only things in your body to grow are your cartilage!! Also I haven’t experienced that stuff with doors but I guess it’s because I always hold doors for others lmao. But definitely hot flashes and warmth for sure.
