just thinking about how incredibly funny our syscovery was, especially bc we were over 25 years old when it happened.
like - a friend of ours was creating an OC and had been discussing what being a system was like with someone who's actually plural, since they wanted their OC to be a system. And then the friend was talking to us about it and the way the OC would function with these alters, and what the headspace would look like.

actually, fuck having a dissociative disorder, this shit SUCKS. We were all excited for something this weekend and then suddenly we're not bc we switched. I do not wanna do this thing but whoever was in front all day made plans and was really hype about them. But now I'm dreading it and don't wanna do it and I hope to God I'm not the one fronting on Saturday bc I'll be so miserable, why are we like this? why cant I just feel the same as everyone else, why can't we just be a normal fucking person and function in unison?
truthfully, I'm almost 28 and I dont give a fuck anymore. I'm just gonna be myself, whoever is fronting that day, or hour, or moment, and then if anyone I love and care about has questions about it I'll tell them honestly. But otherwise its nobody's fucking business. We're done "hiding" and masking and pretending like we aren't here just for everyone else convenience. We're an adult who pays taxes and drives a car and has a weekday job. We don't have time to be justifying our existence to society.
