So, I'm stitting and thinking about Stargate SG1 (as one does,) and a thought occurred to me:
Did Teal'c and Vala ever discuss her time as a Goa'uld host? Like, I think that particular plot point/backstory for Vala is really interesting and underutilized, but really. Did they ever talk about it? I don't think Teal'c would hold any ill feelings toward her for that part of her past, and would see her as a victim as much as the Jaffa were.
I just wonder, if they did talk about it, what did they say? She spends so much time running from her past. He spends literally the whole series coming to terms with his. How would they talk about it?
Also, just as an aside, is that why they had so much chemistry? Not romantically. Obviously. But they were just fun together. Did they bond over the mutual trauma of being manipulated and hurt by the Goa'uld? Am I just overthinking this? (Probably. But I don't care.)
