So I'm curious where you're at wrt the traitor!Izuku theory now. Personally I think it might be dead with the concept of "quirk wills," especially since OFA has shown it's pretty resistant to AFO. AFO said when he gives a quirk away, he's no longer bothered by the quirk's memory/will, so I assume there wouldn't necessarily be a link. I was curious what you thought, tho. 🤔 I love the concept of quirk memories personally, and the idea that vestiges may not necessarily be just a OFA/AFO thing...
i still think there is potential of Deku being the unaware/suspected traitor being canon. honestly, while OFA is resistant to AFO, the two quirks have always had a ‘connection’ and been able to sense one another. that connection just isnt as strong as we thought - and really, all AFO needs is to be able to sense OFA for Deku’s location, for previous events. the villains truthfully never got a ton of information from the traitor, whoever they are, in general
also, tbh, i feel like the vestiges/people getting haunted by a quirks previous holder is something that was introduced earlier on...i feel like the noumu’s are an example of it being outside AFO/OFA, especially the noumu during the Stain arc that grabbed Izuku. We have all but actual confirmation that someone Izuku and Bakugou knew from childhood was used to make the winged noumu...and he obviously picked out Deku for a reason. noumu’s being made of multiple quirks, it would make sense for them to have multiple vestiges.

Rly interesting that I've never seen ppl call Kirishima/Tetsutetsu useless despite their quirks being so similar. 🤔 Not to mention all the fire quirk users in this series!!! So useless, right?? Rly something how it's the female character being called useless/redundant despite the fact that 1) she IS a whole ass character defined by more than just her quirk in the story, and 2) we don't fully understand how float functions/its limitations. 🤔🤔
the absolute disrespect these people have for Uraraka and thinking only of her quirk...like damn. they really forgot she was one of the MVP’s of the JT arc and took out three of the five opponents. she’s got a lot more defining features that ppl refuse to see.
this fandom is so weird with the female characters..while they aren’t as well written as tdrk/bkg/Deku, they’re not that bad. people act like the girls have never had focus and need to have a big part to prove they’re useful...when they’ve already shown they can be useful.
and as you said, we don’t know about float yet. the quirk literally shows up in two panels n people already saying Uraraka no longer has use 😔 maybe y’all should wait...for the next few chapters before making assumptions.
