I have no idea when this is from because I didn’t realize I had it BUT in no particular order
“The Rashomon Job” - Just such a great case of overlapping stories and it was great seeing how each of them saw themselves/saw each other before they knew each other. Hardison making it out like he was some really cool guy, when everyone else thought he was just a weirdo was so in-character it shocked me.
“The Girls Night Out”/”The Boys Night Out” - It’s cheating to count them as separate episodes but I stand by my choice. It was nice seeing the girls finesse the situation they were in while the boys were getting into trouble. Plus, we got to see Hurley again, and I like seeing Drew Powell show up in stuff (he’s the only reason I ever considered watching Gotham).
“The Zanzibar Marketplace Job” - Honestly this top 5 could’ve just been Sterling episodes because Sterling is the best character on the show and any show in general, but this was my favorite one because it had Maggie in it as well, and the whole story is just a lot of fun.
“The Studio Job” - My boy Christian Kane can SING! I was particularly excited ‘cause he sang a little bit on Angel, but he hadn’t released an album or anything at that point, so this was great. And plus, Parker in that cowgirl outfit? I mean come on.
“The Office Job” - Peter Stormare being an auteur creep? Brilliant. I liked how the villain of the episode was SO CLEARLY the CEO but it turned out he was just a dummy, and the true villain was the person nobody paid attention to. Pretty great subversion for a show that was so heavy-handed and blunt in its portrayal of CEOs and the like.
I hate that it was top 5 because there were a lot of episodes that were also strong contenders, but I think these are the best episodes for showing off the characters the most, and you can watch them without any of the macro stories being spoiled.
