I tried to type something out earlier and tumblr ate it so let’s try again shall we?

Sushi has seriously impressed me day after day this week! It’s hard to remember she’s only 12 weeks old, she really is just a very good puppy. We’ve been to various Home Depots, PetSmarts, and PetCos and she’s rocked every visit. We’re currently working on engagement and ability to exist in new places, and every time she hits her stride quickly and is happy to do just about anything with me even if it’s just plod around behind me.

Yesterday morning her worst issue reared its head yet again- potty training and Swissies are not the best of friends and Sushi is not an exception to that. While we’ll go like a day and a half without an accident, sometimes she’ll go in the middle of the night in her crate and then resume sleeping... while in laying it. This of course means that she was covered in feces and urine, and of course means she went to work with me to be groomed.

According to my groomer, she did amazingly! Was sad but otherwise good in the bath, even stood still for the dryer, and was silent in her crate. After grooming closed for the night, Sushi spent her last hour at the store toddling around behind me, occasionally working on recall and positions, and doing a lot of being petted by customers who were dumbfounded on just how good of a puppy she is.
