Dear Sweetlaive3,
Iāve since heard this individual has lessened their annoyance and the Mods did delete all of their letters for several months. If anything, it sounds to me like they have been doing something and this individual is now doing better.
However, I still refuse this person to write me any letters. Even I have to draw a line somewhere. Thankfully, the mods cater to our wishes. So long as I donāt have to answer a single letter to that person again, I see no issue.
- Shelly de Killer
Dear Pearls,
Erm... thank you but you do know that the phraseĀ āone apple a day keeps the doctor awayā is just a myth, right?Ā
(Not that Iām a doctor but I know apples donāt prevent sicknesses.)
- Phoenix Wright
Dear Sweetlaive3,
Never tried, dude. It would make me look totally uncool and... not easy like a spring breeze.
- Matt Engarde,
Dear Edgey-Poo,
Oh, that is so sweet. You donāt need to give this sweet doll anything. Just being with you is reward enough.
But, I suppose if it pleases you, I like the green minty ones that donāt make your teeth rot. Even this old coot needs to keep her teeth in, if you know what I mean.

Dear dawsongfg,
Mod Edgeworth: Itās called a HEX code. Itās a code used to identify color. I swear, you cannot fix stupid.
(Video in Letter)
Dear dawsongfg,
Mod Edgeworth: I think there should be an extended version of this and there isnāt any!
Co-Mod: I like this tune, but trying to imagine the Oldbag while listening to it is like drawing to imagine a shining field of wheat while listening to the Jaws theme.Ā Not exactly a good match.

Dear dawsongfh,
Mod Edgeworth: Using letters from nine years ago is not evidence. Even we donāt consider our letters canon.
Dear Someone,
Mod Edgeworth: Dawsongfg hasnāt gone that far yet and I do see that theyāre trying to calm themselves down. Youāre only not seeing it, because the letters from Dawsongfg are from May and June. The ones released that were to us before were before we placed that rule in. You will see a difference in momentās time. That, I can promise you.
Dear Anthony,
Mod Edgeworth: Thank you. Much appreciated.
Co-Mod:Ā
(Sorry, Iām running low on Ace Attorney sprites for reacting to praise.)
Iām doinā all right for the most part, and I hope the same (or better) can be said for you.Ā Itās always nice to hear some approval every now and then, even if itās just from one person, so thanks a bunch!Ā It helps more than you know.
Dear Anonymous,
Mod Edgeworth: Iāve only seen a Letās Play of it, though I canāt remember the Letās Player.
Co-Mod: Iām not too familiar with it, but I watched the trailer video.Ā The story looks...
...interesting, but the controls make it look like the rage-quit-inducing sort of game.Ā Iām not too fond of those.
(Link in Letter)
Dear Anonymous,
Mod Edgeworth: .......................................... I prefer Asougi Kazuma x Naruhodou Ryuunosuke.
Dear dawsongfg,
Mod Edgeworth: Youāre sorry about that and not the millions of other repetitive letters on Oldbag, threatening Iris and Phoenix to get together and insulting Apollo Justice? I hope you realize that those are more spamming than anything you wrote about Redd White and Grossberg.
Dear sweetlaive3,
Co-Mod: Can do!Ā Thereās no guarantee weāll remember, though, so please inform us if we forget to make those changes.
(Previous Letters)
Dear dawsongfg,
Mod Edgeworth: I suppose it depends on who is wearing it. Erm... I mean... itās not like I...
Take favoritism towards...Ā
C-C-Cravat wearing men. I-I-I mean sure I might have a huge crush on two cravat wearing men, but... erm... I donāt have those feelings towards the other cravat wearers like... Manfred Von Karma and Barok Van Zieks.
even if Manfred Von Karma is my favorite villain (and, letās be real, heās far too old for me anyways)...
Kick me, baby! I mean..... okay, so I have a thing for hot anime men in cravats! So what?
Co-Mod: Keeping out of this one.
Mod Edgeworth:
Dear Rogertheegg,
Mod Edgeworth: I have to disagree with that or else youāre mistaking Kristoph Gavin to Calisto Yew - a Defense Attorney who was a great concept with horrible execution. I find Kristoph Gavin to be ten times more evil and much more intimidating compared to Manfred Von Karma. Believe it or not, Kristoph Gavin is one of my top five favorite villains of AA. Manfred Von Karma is only my favorite villain, because he hits me on a personal level. If anyone can send me a character essay on Kristoph Gavin, I would totally do it. In fact, you can send me a character essay request, if youāre interested to know why I love Kristoph Gavin as a villain.Ā
As for how I would do it, if I was to write a fan fiction with a Defense Attorney as the big bad, I would likely give the villain a personal connection with the main character, a motivation to make that villain a foil, use their job as a means of being that foil in a unique way, place them in a position of power higher than the main character and execute it in a way that makes them a terrifying villain that is a foil to the main character. Thatās my basic blueprint. Since Kristoph Gavin was already done, I doubt I could do anything better than that. Mine would likely take inspiration from Calisto Yew, since she is a villain that was a great idea with bad execution.
Co-Mod: Iām mostly in agreement with Mod Edgeworth, but I just remembered another defense attorney who could potentially fit the category of theĀ āBig Badā if one were to add a few more details to his story -- Robert Hammond.Ā All we know about his career is that he decided to leave Grossbergās office and start his own firm, and that he cared more about himself and his reputation than his clients.Ā He may have already received his comeuppance for it, but for all we know, Yanni Yogi was only one of several people who suffered injustice at his hands, so if we were to turn back the clock a bit, I imagine weād have a good place to start for creating a bad guy defense attorney.
...That doesnāt count as cheating, does it?
-The Mods
Dear Anonymous,
Co-Mod: Not that Iām aware of.Ā She just left along with Mods Vera and Paups a while back.Ā See this post for the details, but be prepared for some politics.
Mod Edgeworth: For those of you that werenāt here when this all went down, I ask you to not ask any more questions regarding that incident. They will be deleted. Itās still kinda sore for some of us and weād like to put that all behind us. We also ask you to not go sending any hate towards the former mods that left. Thank you.
(Songs in LetterĀ -- Spoilers for Kirbyās Return to Dreamland)
Dear GumshoeĀ āLettyā Fan,
Co-Mod: The first song is originally from Fire Emblem if Iām not mistaken, but I agree that it has some Ace Attorney vibes to it.Ā In fact, it sounds incredibly similar to my second favorite Pursuit theme, Pursuit ~ Lying Coldly.
I can also imagine the Kirby tune being played during a tense moment between Ryunosuke and van Zieks.Ā Itās not exactly oriental-sounding, but the fast string melodies create a very similar atmosphere to what we hear in The Great Ace Attorney.
Come to think of it, why arenāt there any Ace Attorney songs in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?Ā I can understand if Nintendo didnāt feel like trying to cram in another fighter or stage, but come on, these songs are timeless!!
Dear dawsongfg,
Mod Edgeworth: Probably when the Judge dies.
Dear springtime562,
Mod Justice:
Finished. Gone. Erased. Done.
AND I WONāT. LET HIM. RETURN.
(If that demonic FREAK of a costume somehow returns, Iām gonna go āGreat Apeā on everything in my line of sight. SCREW. HIM.)
Co-Mod: Indeed.Ā M. E. and I owe Mod Justice a gratitude of thanks forĀ his heroic efforts.Ā Mind if we keep you on speed dial just in case, though?

Dear GumshoeĀ āLettyā Fan,
Co-Mod: And just for you...
I especially loved Jake Marshall in the first one.Ā Add a āpardnerā at the end, and that sounds exactly like him.
I think I shared my MBTI type once before, but I donāt remember what it was.Ā According to the test I did just now, Iām also INFP-T.Ā Whoād have thunk it?
Mod Justice:
I donāt know what to say about the videos, other than that you put a lot of effort into making them. Impressive!
As for my personality type, I am a āTurbulent Mediatorā - or āINFP-T.ā
Huh... seems weāve got something in common, Letty!
Co-Mod: Whoa!Ā How about that?Ā I guess itās a small world, even on the internet.Ā Either that, or the test is rigged somehow.
(Picture in Letter)
Dear Anonymous,
Co-Mod: Your picture didnāt load, so I replaced it with a new one.
I want to say thanks for the nostalgia, but...when did I become so old that that game is nostalgic for me!?
Dear Anonymous,
Mod Edgeworth: We mods do have to explain ourselves to those of the 19th century about who we are, why we are dressed oddly, certain holidays that do not exist in their timeline and even what some of your words mean.Ā
Let me tell ya, itās a bit troubling having to explain what a television, smartphone and other devices are, especially when you send them videos and memes to respond to.
Co-Mod: The tip-off was my fault, in case anyoneās wondering.Ā I couldnāt resist, but in retrospect, maybe it wasnāt such a great idea to share that information with a child...
Dear Starry,
Mod Edgeworth: I donāt recall seeing your name in any letter Iāve deleted, so itās likely in the inbox somewhere. Weāre just now at the 23rd of July.
(Previous Post)
Dear dawsongfg,
Co-Mod: Yeah, I had to do some serious searching for that video -- thank goodness for modern search engine technology.Ā (Sorry, old vacuums!)
Iām unfamiliar with the Big 5 outside of this video, but Iād say theyāre decent voice actors, at least.

Dear Anonymous,
Co-Mod: So Iām not the only one who willingly listens to that song?Ā I mean, sure, it might be from the 80ā²s, but itās still a catchy tune, meme or no meme.
Mod Justice: Amen to that.
However, when it comes to ā80s songs that became memes,ā this gem comes to mind...
Dear Anonymous,
Co-Mod: Nope, itās still in the inbox waiting to be answered very soon!Ā Thanks for asking!Ā : )Ā Ā

Dear Mr. Wright,
Oh, sheās yours? No biggie.Ā
If itās a burger she wants, Iād give her free catering. Anything for a cute girl pretending to be homeless.
