Sweater patterns! There are so many!
One of my goals this year is to knit my first sweater, but I can't settle on a pattern. What I am looking for:
Simple construction (but no particular one). For guidance, I have knit quite a few socks and shawls from written patterns and know colourwork, so maybe between intermediate and experienced?
Not just plain, either something with texture or colourwork. For colourwork something either scandinavian (norwegian) or nature inspired would be nice.
I'm thinking DK yarn? Could be convinced to go worsted if I can find some nice handdyed yarn in that thickness.
My favourite colours (for clothing) are (dark) green, grey and black with the occasional dark blue or maroon. Nothing to do with the pattern really, but I'll keep this in mind when looking for yarn.
Anyone have any recommendations? Also I would love to hear your first knit sweater experiences!
