Meet Alby Daniels: yet another twenty-something London wonder kid. His entirely self-produced and performed soultronic pieces have been circulating around the webwaves for a minute. Especially his 2-steppy rendition of Amy Whinehouse´ "Stronger Than Me" (also featured in this great mix) and the smokey title track of the "This Dawn EP" keep haunting a swanger. There something about his vibe you can´t really put your finger on..but leaves one pushing that play button over and over again..

Groningens Koen & Nangdo are just few of many producers from an early 2000´s dutch hiphop generation that are stepping up their game and exploring more dancefloor inspired Soulful Bass Music (see our last 10 posts) . Although widely respected Detroit inspired beatmakers they always shared a passion for all things TRILL. So to us it came as no surprise they dropped a kind of unconventional mix on YOULLSOONKNOW (not particularly known for dirty south hiphop) proving tings been TRAP and SWANGY since 1990.
