Hi there! If you come off anon (either in my inbox, or in my chatty messages), I’ll be happy to talk with you about it. Yeah, I can edit the superwiki, but like having free will that doesn’t mean I get to do whatever I want, you know?

There have been debates about this. I don’t have final say on what’s on the superwiki. I agree with you it shouldn’t say that Sam spent 120 years in Hell because honestly we have never had word from Sam himself on how long he spent there... and now that we have Adam confirming that he was in the cage with Michael for ten years (i.e. his experience lined up with real time), it seems like confirmation that Dean’s “forty years” in Hell was specific to his particular experience there, and not a blanket statement for how time runs in Hell overall.

Even still, making a declaration like that on the superwiki, or even removing the now canonically incorrect assumption about Sam, would still require at least a discussion among the superwiki folks before editing it.
