SuperWiki twitter handler (who is a destiel shipper) getting called out by Mark Pellegrino and Chad Lindberg is my jam!
So destiel is heteronormative and homophobic.
beep beep beep we have a situation on twitter, the superwiki account has been retweeting w*ncest AND ALSO...
if any of y’all have time to kill I’d suggest you go forth and “cause problems on purpose,” as the kids say
Hi, I'm the Wiki anon ☺️ I was just reading a piece about Sam's time in the cage and noticed it said his soul was in hell for 120 hell years. I know you're a proponent of the idea that the "1 month = 10 years" thing was specific to Dean, and I agree with you. I didn't know if that was the kind of thing that could -- or should -- be edited. It's nbd really, but I was just curious about that cuz I feel like it's not explicitly "canon" that Sam spent ~120 years there, ya know?
Hi there! If you come off anon (either in my inbox, or in my chatty messages), I’ll be happy to talk with you about it. Yeah, I can edit the superwiki, but like having free will that doesn’t mean I get to do whatever I want, you know?
There have been debates about this. I don’t have final say on what’s on the superwiki. I agree with you it shouldn’t say that Sam spent 120 years in Hell because honestly we have never had word from Sam himself on how long he spent there... and now that we have Adam confirming that he was in the cage with Michael for ten years (i.e. his experience lined up with real time), it seems like confirmation that Dean’s “forty years” in Hell was specific to his particular experience there, and not a blanket statement for how time runs in Hell overall.
Even still, making a declaration like that on the superwiki, or even removing the now canonically incorrect assumption about Sam, would still require at least a discussion among the superwiki folks before editing it.
Though I agree it’s something that needs to be discussed. I haven’t looked at the page on Hell either to see if there’s similar language there about how time runs there. Heck this is gonna be a project... :)
