Lex thinking he has a special connection with Superman and Batman, only for Slade to corner the "threesomes with the World's Finest" market right in front of him? If I was Lex, I would lose my goddamned mind. Like what do you mean you know him carnally, I know him at the very molecular level--

It was an otherwise normal day. Clark and Bruce were having their weekly lunch at Clark’s favorite diner in Gotham (he would have preferred Metropolis but it was far easier for Clark to get to Bruce on his lunch break than Bruce to him). Clark had a Caprese sandwich and Bruce had a salad (Bruce never ate “real” food on their little lunch dates). They were chatting about work in codewords in case anyone was listening when Bruce’s phone buzzed. He glanced at his watch to see the message and his eyes widened just a smidge. His pulse kicked up a little and Clark could hear his blood pouring downward but pretended not to notice. Clark was very good at pretending not to notice things, especially things like attraction and arousal. Because make no mistake, Bruce was definitely aroused.

Haha thank you so much. Truly that's how I went into writing that fic too. It was kind of like a puzzle, I knew the pieces in theory could fit together, and I got to try and assemble them how I wanted. I'm pretty happy with the result!

So many. I’m easily swayed by a convincing argument. But I think the biggest one was probably Bruce/Slade and Bruce/Slade/Clark. Never in my life would I have thought to ship those folks together. And yet, I have like three fics with them now. So shout out anons! It ended up super hot and intriguing at a character level.

I still don't know if bruce/slade's ship is called deathbat, but if it is, then I assume clark's is superdeath. So their threesome ship is superdeathbat? I'm pretty sure that's what I tagged mine.
