City Lights Before Night
Sitting here, feeling the earth beneath me, I let go of the week’s weight and welcome the joy that the weekend brings.

[EN] I was supposed to leave earlier, but the dogs broke through the gate again. I had to stop and patch up yet another gap they’d chewed out for themselves. Luckily, Olek helped me and brought them back.
And what now? It’s already dark, ladies and gentlemen. The days are short, and soon the clocks will change. I took the tripod with me. I once bought a very expensive carbon fiber tripod — back when I could afford it. Bought it, but rarely carry it. It weighs almost nothing, and yet… well. This time I did take it. And since I did, I took a few shots.
Funny how quickly the tone of a day can change. Just moments earlier I was running around the yard, fixing boards and patching holes made by the dogs — and then, suddenly, I was standing there in silence, camera on tripod, staring into the darkness. As if the world had finally stopped struggling. As if someone had hit “pause” for a moment.
The time is coming when I’ll have to make peace with bringing it along — if I want to keep up this habit of taking photos while out walking.
[PL] Miałem wyjść wcześniej, ale psy znowu sforsowały bramkę. Musiałem się zatrzymać i załatać kolejną szczelinę, którą sobie wygryzły.
No i co? Ciemno już, panowie i panie. Dni krótkie, a zaraz zmiana czasu. On prawie nic nie waży, a mimo to… no właśnie. Tym razem jednak wziąłem. No i skoro już wziąłem, to zrobiłem te kilka zdjęć.
