While leafless in winter and early spring a mature Deutzia pulchra (deutzia) clearly displays its wonderful pale cinnamon coloured peeling bark. In late spring and early summer this native to the mountains of the northern Philippines will produce pendant white flowers tinged pink and borne in elegant sprays.

Lupins looking fab.
Lupin look especially great in a country cottage style garden. They can also be grown in pots.
They are a hardy perennial.
Feeding with a high potash feed will encourage them to keep flowering.
Our perennial benches are full and we have lots more growing on.
