Nearly 90,000 bottles of children's ibuprofen recalled due to reports of foreign substances
Nearly 90,000 bottles of children’s ibuprofen are being recalled because they may contain a foreign substance, according to a notice issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The recall affects Children’s Ibuprofen Oral Suspension, a pain reliever that comes in liquid form. The product was manufactured in India by Strides Pharma for Taro Pharmaceuticals. The medication is intended for…
This post is my plea for every SBCL devotee to go back and (re)read the extra chapters. I believe Chapter 96.5 was the first. It was released during the GWA but takes place during BoC. In this chapter, Sebastian appears to be affected by whatever liquor Joker pours him and shares a personal anecdote about one of his earlier... shall we say, consequential decisions... in filling the role of butler.

Writing Notes: Hazardous Substances
Asphyxiants. Gases that displace or dilute breathable air (oxygen) can cause suffocation in large quantities. (Examples: carbon dioxide and nitrogen.)
Carcinogens. Chemicals that can cause cancer after many years if you unknowingly swallow, breathe them in, or soak them up through your skin. (Examples: asbestos, radon, vinyl chloride, and benzene.)
Compressed gases. These substances are often stored in cylinders under high pre. This can knock down people or walls.
Corrosives. Acids or alkaline substances can penetrate or burn through the skin. (Examples: nitric, sulfuric, or hydrochloric acid, and sodium hydroxide.)
Flammables. Liquids, vapors, or gases that can catch fire or explode when exposed to a flame, an operating electrical tool, or even a simple static spark. (Examples: methane and propane.)
Teratogens. Chemicals that can lead to birth defects. (Examples: isotretinoin, excess vitamin A, alcohol, and thalidomide.)
Toxic chemicals. Substances that can damage the body's organs when they're inhaled, swallowed, or absorbed through the skin. (Examples: lead, cadmium, and pesticides.)
You may be at risk of accidental poisonings, chemical burns, or suffocation. It depends on where you work and the substances you handle. Knowing and following the right safety steps can help keep you safe. The above are some of the hazards you may come across.

Estro-Gin
A few years ago at a local bookstore I picked up a copy of Underground (1993), a TTRPG of dubious repute. On the back, it had a small blurb which read:
"Estro-Ginâ„¢: A popular alcoholic beverage that is unusually tasty and addictive due to the fact that it is laced with human hormones."
This notion stuck with me, and now that I'm taking oral estradiol tablets I figured I could craft such a beverage! @beansprouts and I workshopped for an evening and created something I am happy to call Estro-Gin: "The only drink that will make your boobs bigger!"
Here's the recipe:
1.5 oz. Kinky Pink
1 oz. Tanqueray Gin
0.25 oz. The Bitter Truth Violet Liqueur
0.25 oz. fresh Lemon Juice
2x 2mg Estradiol tablets
(example image includes one pump of Fancy Sparkles edible glitter)
Serve cold, and on the rocks. This drink is strong, at over 20% ABV (40 proof). If you like your drinks strong, use whiskey stones.
The estrogen tablets add a slight tanginess and body which I think enhances the drink. It's a very similar drink when served without the tablets, so don't worry if you don't have access to the little turquoise pills (or want a lower dose)!
In preparation I dissolved two tablets into 0.5 oz. of gin for a few hours. Both pills dissolved, but did not fully go into solution (there was still significant sedimentation). This produced a wonderful color:
I would suggest mixing the pills into the drink last, instead of pre-mixing. They will dissolve readily with some stirring, and with more liquid there will likely be less sedimentation to manage. The final drink had no detectable sediment from the pills.
The keen-eyed among you may notice that this looks like a heavily modified Aviation. That's right! I took inspiration from Aviation Revisited by How to Drink, and the Aviation recipe on Tipsy Bartender (though it won't taste like either of those).
Warning: This drink is not medically advisable in any way. Taking estradiol orally already puts a strain on your liver, so combining that with a relatively strong portion of alcohol is probably bad for you!
