Hadn’t exactly been something he’d thought to look for as a kid. Secondly, there was an eeriness to this man’s voice. It wasn’t quite familiar and yet it was. Murdock’s head turned slightly. That heartbeat, however, he’d know anywhere.
“Peter?” Brow furrowed as he was trying to figure out what was going on. This was Peter and it wasn’t. An imposter? Some sort of trick? A trap? Grip tightened around the handle of his guide stick, in case he had to use it for something other than its intended purpose. Something was off.
“--Only--you’re not...” Lips pursed together briefly. “You want to tell me who the hell you are?”
