Something so queer about the way Qifrey and Olly talk about lying. The way Qifrey wants to be honest and true more than anything but he has to lie to survive. The way that Olly gives him permission to do just that along with the hope that one day he won’t have to. The way he recognizes from jump that when you’re in imminent danger you often don’t have any choice but to lie and that honesty is a privilege of the safe.
