The weather is cooling again.
I'm not sure if its just me- but something feels unlike usual. I haven't seen the birds or squirrels at all lately.
Tunner tells me I'm being paranoid.
Even though it's still summer, nothing has happened. Everyone stays home now that they have free time. Vineria lives closest to our cabin. She does visit at least once a week to use our oven. She's been baking muffins and cornbread for Simon and Garnold who are both currently on bedrest.
Tunner hasn't been home, but he isn't very busy. He's been doing small jobs to clean up the town; pressure washing sidewalks, watering plants, fixing random things that needed fixing. He finishes work and then comes home to sleep until he leaves again in the morning. I do miss him, but I'm glad he's finding respite in work.
Sky has been playing outside a lot. He is usually with Oren or OWAKCX. He sleeps in a tent in the woods most nights. I do not think he enjoys being in my presence.
Luckily, I'm not completely alone. Pinki comes and visits. She loves talking, and I enjoy listening. She will talk forever. It is relaxing; she doesn't expect me to say anything, rather, she doesn't take a breath long enough for the chance to arise.
