ADHD Community! How do you take breaks?!
Im ADHD and sometimes poor time managment sneeks up on me and i find myself cramming studying or homework in a day or two before the deadline.
When you study how do you break? How long? How often?
Ive been trying the Pomodoro Tequnique (20min of work 5min break) and its helpful for getting started if your lacking motivation. But I often skip the break for one or two intervals because I dont want to stop my work flow, then when I do break it can take anywhere from 15min to 45min to get me really focused and back in it. When i work on assignments that arent making tons of porgress like long math problems or studying where you dont see a physical result of your work I burn out after 50min of work. Any advice?

A lot of people have been talking about study playlists recently so I wanted to share mine. My playlist includes the soundtracks of the most recent 3 Star Wars films; The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and Rogue One.
I picked Star Wars as my music because I enjoy the work of John Williams and have always been a massive fan of Star Wars. The music also offers enough variety that it doesn’t feel boring as well as evokes a sense of wonder and motivation for me to strive to work hard. Because, lets be honest, who wouldn’t want to be as kick ass as Jyn, Rey and Leia.
