i don’t know how but i managed to submit all of my papers and things this week even though i spent time with friends, watched the olympics opening ceremon with more friends, and even went swing dancing tonight (it’s friday) before i was done with everything!! lots to work on for next week but brunch planned for tomorrow, friends coming over sunday for the super bowl, and monday is all mine because we get a day off classes. life is good??

Bit of a study break today....
Easter holidays gone with no time to rest- just exam revision & essays. Modernism exam and 19th century exam fast approaching (Modernism on Saturday) and still tons of revision to do. It just never ends.
Today, however, I am not doing any revision or uni study. The day is dedicated to food shopping, chores, cooking and (my favourite!) reading for fun! Making my way through some rereads of books I love. Today's is Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs featuring my favourite chocolate milk and inspirational card from Grandma & Auntie xx
some old photos. one of my favorite things this year was to visit the city, alone, or with some good friends, between classes. walking. taking the subway. watching beautiful streets, beautiful random people, or the sunset. it was very soft. i loved the freedom of just going out, the world just at reach, for a small adventure. i can't wait to return and to see everything with different eyes.

I'm at my desk, with my tea and almonds and all the shit I need to study. Guess it's time to study now. It's never too late, guys. Sometimes u just need a little push.
Last finals in four days. I've no fucking motivation. Or any survival instincts. I just want to stay in my fluffy-cloud-like blanket and forget I'm actually a human being. I guess it's just one of these days and it has been that for pretty much two weeks. Great.
