Okay, EVERYONE.

@yautjabeast aka @poppytanji123 on Wattpad, this one is for you and ALL the others who think it's okay to steal.

I'm here to make one thing clear.

DO NOT STEAL, REPOST OR TRANSLATE ANY OF MY WORKS  

This little message has been on the bottom of all of my works, on top of my Masterlist and even in my Bio for a reason.

Yet, it looks like some people just don't get it.

I write because I enjoy writing, not for people to copy and paste, repost and gain views/likes whatever.

Each story posted here is MINE unless credit states otherwise.

NO ONE has permission to repost, translate or STEAL anything.

They are my babies, and you don't have permission to take them!

I would hate to go down like many other Tumblr writers due to plagiarism.

EVEN if you put my name as credit I DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION.

I have done it in the past, those can obviously stay, but for a long time now, I do not want my stories to be posted by other people.

I have a Wattpad, AO3 and Tumblr for a reason.

These are my main accounts and only these should have my works on them. PERIOD.

I would get it if people got inspired, wrote a continuation or reached out to me regarding an idea. But just copying and pasting something off of Tumblr and posting it elsewhere IS NOT OKAY.

Recently, someone wrote to me on Wattpad saying someone has been reposting mine and other people's fanfiction.

And yes, 4 of them were stolen from me and I found many of other people's works as well. 2 out of the 4 didn't even mention my account name anywhere, which makes it look like the person posting is the writer.

PLAGIARISM

Now, one can say it is only fanfiction what's the big deal?! The big deal is that I spend hours or days on something that someone just steals!

IT IS NOT OKAY.

A/N: Reblogging never bothered me. It's the blatant stealing that got me to this point. Liking, reblogging and commenting is what Tumblr allows, which is what I also appreciate since it gets my work out there.

I don't know a lot of people on Tumblr, I'm fairly new to this. I just joined back in October/November, but my point is the people (friends) as I like to call them; that I've made on here I feel protective of....its my nature 🤷🏾‍♀️ sorry, not sorry 🙍🏾‍♀️. I enjoy reading my TRR/THR fics, that's my ish, and I love messaging those that write them, bc I want to make sure that they know that their fics are AWESOME; BUT WHAT I CAN'T STAND IS FOR THOSE THAT DON'T HAVE THE COURAGE TO WRITE THEIR OWN ISH, THEN STEAL SOMEONE ELSE'S. What are we in Kindergarten, be Adult enough to come up with your own ish and write it. Stop stealing other people's work. No one is getting paid for this, and if its validation you need, pick another hobby. No one likes for their hard work(for free) to be stolen and passed off as someone else's, NO ONE LIKES IT.

Do you think it is alright to steal an artwork that people pour their hearts into without permission? This is no funny shit! Excuse my language but I am seriously mad that lots of people out there think they can do whatever they want because of the amount of freaking attention the piece you stole is getting. Seriously stop. If you want as much attention, then why don’t you make your own stuff and be acknowledged as your original. This problem has been going around for so long, it’s like people lost their common sense or their ability to respect others. Do you know how long it takes for someone to achieve something that used their time, creativity, pressure and effort? Imagine all that taken away because some dumb person decides “oh, I like this, let me repost this even if it might make the original person upset.” like, NO! The F’s are your manners? This doesn’t only apply to art, it applies to everything. There are some things you cannot give the person you stole from, back! If you are that dumb person (people) then you better give a full on full apology to the person and pull the work down. You don’t know how mad and how worked up a person gets when something like this happens to you. Man/Woman up to the actions.

Another thing, if you ask for permission and you are denied to use their work, don’t do it anyway cuz unlike some, I will bring a war to you for stealing someone else’s work. You will regret doing something as crappy and low as that. There is a reason why the person denied you access. Even if you do not agree, don’t be pushing a person into agreeing. It’ll make the situation more difficult to handle than it has to be.

Again, my main point:

DO NOT STEAL. NO EXCUSES. NO, OH CUZ I NEEDED FOR MY YOUTUBE… BS! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR? @eizabet and  @ferisae I am soo sorry that you have to be going through this crap, I will do anything in my power to stop these people from doing any more stealing.

If any of you out there think stealing is ok, WRONG! Stealing is a CRIME. You can get ARRESTED.
