This Badboy Can Hold SO MUCH Autism

Okay! So firstly I really enjoyed the movie. Like a lot. I always am hesitant to get excited about horror movies these days because I’m frequent dissapointed. But this was a case of me being rightfully excited.

Now on to why I’m actually making this post because I have a question for those that have seen the movie!

During the scene where Mary finds Clark in the backrooms and they hear an entity getting closer, Mark says “It’s okay, it’s just me” or something like that. And my assumption is he was talking to Mary, but that also doesn’t make a ton of sense because obviously hears there’s something else so that wouldn’t be a very reassuring thing to hear. So maybe he’s talking to the entity or the pirate version of himself trying to get him to not overreact about Mary? Or he really is talking to Mary and when he says “It’s just me” he means it in a literal sense because the pirate is a distortion of himself, but he still sees it as himself.
