#stop misandry

Because we need to celebrate the innocent men with anxiety, ptsd, trust issues, etc... we have an entire month to show our love for traumatized men who need help!!!

I'm a woman, and because I'm not a sexist psychopath, I'm speaking out against sexism against innocent men!!! They don't deserve it, in fact, they deserve love and respect!!!

So, here's a canonically traumatized men, and he's the Medic from tf2!!!

He's a mute guy with sensitive hearing and he has ptsd. Because if you follow me long enough, you know what he went trough... he also got memory loss due to getting punched by a nazi soldier, but let's not get into that much detail, it's too brutal... *ahem* where was i? Oh! Yes... thankfully, he's getting comforted by his childhood friend who's also his husband... he comforted him since the 1920s!!! When they were children... he's a traumatized gay feminine indigenous bavarian guy who thankfully is recovering from his ptsd... his 1000 doves also comfort him with cuddles...

Here's a sketch of me with medic, I'm comforting him, telling him that everything is ok, and I even gave him a handshake, to make him happier... you know, a wholesome tomboy (girls with a boyish personality) and tomgirl (boys with a feminine personality, so basically femboy...) friendship!!!

I'm a 21 year old woman who's 5'2, and medic here is a 58 year old man, who's 5'4, because short kings need love too!! (Including engineer, who's 5'6)

Let's talk:

Misandry isn't fucking cute. It isn't fucking funny and it needs to stop. This whole "down with the cis" and "straight white men" bullshit gets us NOWHERE. I've seen more problems being caused by straight white WOMEN nowadays, because they basically have the fucking pussy pass!

• My little brother never said "girls are dumb", he likes playing outside with the girl from the neighbourhood.

• When I grew up I prefered playing with boys. The girls would giggle about things I considered as stupid, like diaries, "cute" boys and glitter polish. I also liked Barbie movies and dressing up as princess but the boys never giggled over stupid things. They never excluded me from playing Pokémon, football or dragon hunters with them.

• When I was eleven I still prefered playing with boys because the girls would talk about nothing about fashion and how badly they wanted to "dress me up to be finally pretty". My male friends never cared for such things. We had more fun playing on game cube and cooking fried potaties together.

• It was my best male friend encouraging me to develop a complete fantasy story with 24 characters.

• When I was younger my friend was always there to exchange books with me. He was a helping hand in the sea of romantasy-kitschy Twilight-glitter-vampire-chicklit. Together we would always find cool books about adeventures, good plots and dragons.

• I can name at least 9 boys who enjoy reading.

• Once a friend and me were streaming an episode of Supernatural and a porn site ad poped up. I clicked it away still my friend's expression was scrunched. "They look so cheap. The prostitues on the photo.", he said "I hate it. I hate that the women all look the same, I hate that they all assume we like this ugly plastic things. I like my girlfriend's cooked nose, I like her small breasts, I like that she's taller than me. I like her how she is. The way she's makes her so beautiful."

• My best friend is straight. He's perfect at flirting, he's never afraid of talking to girls. Close to womanizer though he's also a real gentleman. Anyway he never flirted with me neither did he touch in a appropriated way. We are friends. That's all.

• One morning during breakfast in a hostel a man told me I was looking pretty in my natural way, without any make-up.

• Passive-aggressive behavior is something I rarely experienced with boys.

• A friend of mine is totally cool with his male friend wearing stockings and skirts.

• I can name you at least 20 boys and men I know personally who never made and will never ever make rape jokes. None of them thinks that's sexy.

• During a seminary for "what to do after school" the instructor told me what kind of chauvinist behavior I would be confronted with in my future life. Further he gave me some advices how I could brace myself against and I how I can deflect such subtile attacks.

• When the beginning of the therapy for my trans-friend was official he was angry because people on tumblr say that trans people and/or men can't be feminists. "It upsets me", he said to me "I want to be a man respecting women, not a scumbag."

• The muslim friend of my dad is 100% supportive with his wife not wearing anything to cover her hair. He's 100% supportive with her caring for her own finances and being herself.

I already got some really creepy messages from strangers in my life. Some drunk jerks yelled inappropriate things when I was passing. A bunch of scumbags (excuse my language but they are) were totally fine with a women getting sexually harrased on screen while watching "L.A. Crash" in English classes. Further they even said ut was the woman's fault that she got harrassed. After thise incidents I was furious,I was ready to get into a violent ficht if necessary just to get all this anger out of me and their bullshit out of them.

And there men who're doing worse things. From physically abusing, raping, treating girls and women like meat to dehumanizibg them completely. Out of question, they exist. En masse. Out of question, this should never ever be excused!
